POTENTIAL OF USING SYMBOLS IN ESTABLISHING POLITICAL INTERACTIONS

Abstract. The article discusses the role of symbols in the interaction of political actors. In this connection the author analyzes possibilities both for the positive and negative use of symbols in the interrelations of society and authoritative elites. The researcher justifies the thesis that the full legitimization of power is possible only under the condition of constructive mutual interactions using the symbols, which satisfy the values of society.
