NEW TENDENCIES OF LEGISLATION ON EXTREMISM AND TERRORISM IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract. The article reveals the main tendencies of the development of the legislation of the Russian Federation on struggle against terrorism and extremism on the basis of the analysis of the most significant legislative and subordinate acts, and also on the basis of the changes adopted in the Russian Federation. The analysis of the above mentioned aspects conducted by the author through the lenses of law enforcement practice and the improvement of practical activity revealed some problems in the sphere of the legal regulation of counteracting terrorism and extremism, the solution of which is of both scientific and practical interest.
