SPECIFICS OF ARCHITECTURE OF THE TRINITY CHURCH NEAR PERESLAVL-ZALESSKY: ON THE PROBLEM OF DETERMINING THE CHRONOTOPE "THE RUSSIAN NORTH"

Abstract. The article analyzes the architecture and the history of creation of the Trinity Church near Pereslavl-Zalessky, which is still insufficiently explored. The paper aims to identify the equivalent interpretation of the northern architecture traditions in this region. The author introduces the terms "territorial concentration of traditions" and "paradigm of spiritual and artistic sphere". The researcher concludes: the lands of Pereslavl-Zalessky, as well as Yaroslavl, refer to the spiritual space of the North, and, consequently, to the chronotope "The Russian North".
