NATIONAL STATE SYSTEM OF DAGESTAN: STAGES OF FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT

Abstract. The author reveals the basic stages of the formation and improvement of the state system of the peoples of Dagestan basing on the Constitution of the Republic. Particular attention is paid to the constitutions of modern time (1994 and 2003), and their significance for improving the state system of multinational Dagestan at the present stage. Also the role of such public authorities as the Council of State and the National Assembly in addressing crucial issues for the Republic is emphasized.
