Abstract. In the article some peculiarities of chronological and psychological time and their reflection in fiction are revealed. It is noted that a talented writer or poet refuses chronological time measurement, which is indifferent to the destinies and characters of heroes in its content, and introduces a special chronotope of existence significantly different from its physical metric. This allows creating a special panorama of events inaccessible for science with its orientation to objective truth.
