CHARACTER OF COMIC SERVANT IN CREATIVE WORK OF I. I. SOSNITSKY IN THE 1810-1820S

Abstract. The article studies the possibilities of the structure of a specific character created by St. Petersburg actor Ivan Ivanovich Sosnitsky (1794-1871) in the first third of the XIX century, in which either an individual or a typical phenomenon could be considered as dominant. It is alleged that the principle of the character’s individuation was realized in the roles of comic servants: Dupre ("Cheating in Favor of Love" by P. Marivaux) and Figaro ("The Marriage of Figaro" by P. K. Beaumarchais).
