CHRONOTOPE OF SCHOOL IN DOMESTIC CINEMATOGRAPHY

Abstract. The article studies the characteristics of the chronotope of school in domestic cinema. The author analyzes in detail the notion formulated by M. M. Bakhtin, who considered chronotope as one of the most important factors determining the genre (or genre variety) of the work. In the case of "school films" (films for teenagers) such a chronotope is the space-time of the school. The main content of the study is the analysis of the characteristic features of this chronotope, the key elements are identified and their value is ascertained.
