CIVIL SOCIETY IN CONTEMPORARY RUSSIA IN THE CONTEXT OF POST-MODERNIST THEORIES

Abstract. The article considers the issue of civil society formation in modern Russia. In this connection the post-modernistic interpretations of this phenomenon in scientific literature, the possibility of post-modernistic concepts application in the Russian political and cultural space and the native reflection of post-modernistic concepts in the framework of the Russian political space are studied. The authors substantiate the view that there is no civil society in Russia in post-modernistic interpretation.
