DAGESTAN FIGURES OF FINE ARTS IN EDUCATIONAL SPACE OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF ARTS

Abstract. In the article the role of the higher education establishments of the Russian Academy of Arts in the training of personnel for Dagestan is shown for the first time. The basic principles of the academic system of art education are revealed, the continuity of pedagogical traditions both within higher education establishments and in the teaching work of their graduates in the region is grounded. The surnames of the Dagestanis, who are the graduates of Institutes named after I. E. Repin and V. I. Surikov, are ascertained, their role in the formation of higher artistic education in the Republic is determined. The author suggests a number of recommendations for improving the system of the vocational training of fine arts figures at the Art-Graphic Faculty of Dagestan State Pedagogical University.
