Abstract. The article is devoted to the problems of modern communication by means of social networks as a part of augmented reality. The key features of the popularity of using the virtual form of communication are identified. Particular attention is paid to the main categories and reasons of the formation of the network representative’s consciousness dependence on the need for constant interaction between social and virtual environments. The goals and objectives of social services are reviewed, and in this connection appropriate conclusions are made.
