ESSENCE OF MODERN EXISTENTIAL TURN IN CULTURE: RECEPTIONS OF STUDIES BY V. FRANKL AND E. FROMM

Abstract. Analyzing the philosophical theses of logotherapy by V. Frankl and the concept of human destructiveness by E. Fromm the author reveals the specificity of external and internal foundations, the structure and direction of modern existential turn in culture. Its comparison with previous existential turns in culture is given. The conclusion is made about the paradigmatic significance of modern existential turn in the development of culture, its essence and underside.
