THE MAIN DEVELOPMENT TENDENCIES OF THE CODES OF ETHICS OF ENGINEERING COMMUNITIES IN THE XX-XXI CENTURIES

Abstract. The scale of socio-cultural changes caused by scientific and technological progress raises sharply the issue of the ethical responsibility of the engineer. The article is devoted to the consideration of the main directions of the transformation of the engineering codes of ethics in the XX-XXI centuries. The identified tendencies demonstrate the relevance of professional and socio-cultural components in their content and allow speaking about increase within the framework of the considered period in the level of the collective social responsibility of engineering practice participants.
