POLITICS AND SPORT: INTERRELATION OF POLITICAL AND NONPOLITICAL ATTRIBUTES OF RUSSIAN POWER

Abstract. The article deals with the political and nonpolitical attributes of Russian power. The author relates the merging of political, sport and business elite in modern society to the nonpolitical characteristics/properties of power. Interaction between sport and politics takes place by means of such sporting events like Olympic Games, World Championships, actions of civil society - youth movements, the holding of forums and so on.
