Abstract. The article examines the content of the notions "worldview" and "ontology". Worldview is understood as a subject aspect of world outlook, and ontology - as philosophical reflection of worldview. It is stated that worldview is the most important part of the subject field of ontology. In turn, the principles and ideas of ontology contribute to the systematization of the content of worldview. Non-classical ontology helps to realize the degree of difference between worldview and the world itself.
