IDEOLOGY OF EXTREMISM AND TERRORISM AS A FORM OF DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOUR: PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract. The article is devoted to the philosophical analysis of problems associated with spread of the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism on the Internet. The paper considers essence and specificity of extremist and terrorist activity. Nature of extremism and its relationship with mass behaviour are studied. As a conclusion the authors suggest considering the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism on the Internet within the framework of a current global tendency associated with dominance of new ways of communication in the mass society.
