FRACTAL SEMIOTICS AND METHODOLOGY TO STUDY VIRTUAL SPACE

Abstract. The article focuses on applying the methodology of fractal semiotics and fractal theory to describe virtual space on the whole and its separate segments. Fractal semiotics is examined as continuation of certain methodological principles of pragmatist semiotics. Using fractal approach fits well with the complexity and variability of virtual space and is advisable to analyze the peculiarities of virtual space itself and the aspects of the human’s interaction with it.
