KANT AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF PHILOSOPHICAL REALISM IN RUSSIAN NATURAL HISTORY

Korobkova Svetlana Nikolaevna
Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation

Abstract. The article focuses attention on such movement of the Russian philosophy of the second half of the XIX century as philosophical realism. The quintessence of philosophical realism is the study of the correlation of material and ideal in real actuality. Kant’s doctrine on apriorism served as a methodological foundation for the development of realistic world outlook in Russian natural history. A particular case of the reception of the ideas of the German thinker is critical realism of M. M. Philippov. Kant’s system in the context of philosophical realism gets not traditional idealistic, but naturalistic perception.
