PROBLEM OF MILITARY AND POLITICAL STABILIZATION IN AFGHANISTAN IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE REGION STATES’ INTERESTS AT THE MODERN STAGE

Abstract. The article examines the problem of the stabilization of the military and political situation in Afghanistan in the framework of the interests of the neighbouring states and the key centers of power. The author analyzes the basic views of the region states and the USA on how to address Afghan instability, identifies possible prospects for solving the problem for the countries of Central and Southern Asia and the Middle East considering their national interests. The paper emphasizes the geopolitical importance and ways to overcome the situation of Afghan "controlled chaos".
