STATE-RELIGION interaction IN the MODERN RUSSIAN SOCIETY

Abstract. The article deals with the basic models of state-religion interaction. In the authors’ opinion, in Russia there is a cooperation model of interrelation between the state and religion. The nature of modern relationship between religion and the state is described, and an example of the education sector, where these connections are the most clearly presented, is given. The authors suppose that the stage of the mutually beneficial convergence of the state and religion is becoming a thing of the past and new relations are coming.
