GLOBALIZATION OF UNIVERSITY EDUCATION AS THE END OF THE EXTENSIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MANKIND

Abstract. The total coverage of the population of our planet with higher education in geographical and social aspects is new historical reality which came simultaneously with breakthrough in digital technologies. The global character of university education may indicate the end of the extensive development of the mankind on the whole in mental sense. Info-communication technologies play a tremendous role in the incredible speed of higher education development. They also give inexhaustible opportunities of the general improvement of education quality.
