IDEOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF EXTREMISM ESCALATION AS A THREAT TO SOCIOCULTURAL INTEGRATION IN THE SOUTH OF RUSSIA

Abstract. The article deals with the ideological foundations of modern extremist movements in the South of Russia. The paper analyzes the ideas of Russian scientists, foreign theologians, regional conflictologists studying the ideological foundations of extremism in the world and in the South of Russia. The North Caucasus as a region of instability requires more attention of the state, as well as the consolidation of the local population on the basis of the strategy of sociocultural integration.
