ONTO-GNOSIOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF FREEDOM PROBLEM IN J. SCHELLING’S WORKS

Abstract. The article analyzes the interpretation of freedom problem in J. Schelling’s creative work. On the basis of the methodological principle considered by Schelling himself as "ideal-realism" the paper aims to prove that the ethical aspect of freedom problem, contrary to domestic historiography, is not a key one with the German philosopher. According to the authors, it’s onto-gnosiological aspect taking its origin from Plato’s and Neo-Platonists’ philosophy that makes Schelling’s approach relevant and efficient.
