ACTANTIAL MODEL AS A TOOL FOR INVESTIGATING CONTEXTS OF DIFFERENT GENRES

Abstract. The subject of the article is related to the functioning of the actantial model in the contexts of different genres. The purpose of the paper is to generalize the characteristic of the theory of actantial models in their historical development. The result is the realization of the fundamental importance of this notion for theatre practice and, in particular, for small-format theatres. The novelty of the work is in the comprehensive representation of the notion "actantial model" for the purpose of its further projection on theatrical performance, which unwittingly reflects the whole spectrum of semantic constants with mythological, psychological, ideological background.
