SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS AND DEAFNESS AS WAYS OF CULTURE "EGOIZATION"

Abstract. The current crisis state of the Western European culture is associated with the destruction of the way of its being. The mode of culture being is expressed in the ability to "see" and to "hear", which the ancient Greeks denoted as "knowledge". The destruction of knowledge led to the disappearance of the integrity of cultural being and the emergence of individual being of separate selfish creatures, who are determined by their own "egos", and it inevitably leads to the egoization of culture as a whole.
