ACOUSTIC IMAGE OF PICTORIAL WORKS OF THE BEGINNING OF THE XVIII CENTURY IN MULTI-MEDIA DESIGN

Abstract. The article considers the design of multi-media projects associated with pictorial art. The author examines designer’s speculations when developing acoustic solution of multi-media composition considering the specificity of pictorial works of the beginning of the XVIII century. It is shown that apart from esthetic function the sound also increases the content-richness of information messages. The paper identifies new research areas the further studies of which will promote the formation of new theories in the sphere of multi-media design.
