THE PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE ANCIENT CHINESE PARADIGM OF EDUCATION

Abstract. Currently, higher education in China is faced with a problem: how to form a personality advanced in the humanities under the conditions of modern socio-cultural processes. The article examines the philosophical grounds applied by the Chinese government in the process of reforming the education system. Adherence to traditions, the lack of desire to cross out the unfortunate pages of history in favor of modern trends determine the preservation of China’s cultural identity, the spiritual maturity of the nation, the uniqueness and success of the way of the education sphere development.
