PSYCHEDELIC ART AND NEW TECHNIQUES OF ARTISTIC EXPRESSIVENESS

Abstract. The article deals with new techniques of artistic expressiveness, formed within the framework of psychedelic art. The use of colour combinations rarely found in the nature with maximally enhanced contrast and brightness characteristics is revealed; the introduction of rhythmically organized structures of any form creating optical illusions is identified. It is stated that the new techniques do not only convey the obtained visionary experience, but also introduce a new standard of visuality into the artistic practice.
