THE URBANIZED ENVIRONMENT AS A NODE OF MEDIATED CONTRADICTIONS (PHILOSOPHICAL AND SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS)

Abstract. On the basis of studying philosophical and sociological sources the article conducts the research of the content and functioning of the concept "urbanized environment" as a civilizational phenomenon inheriting the contradictions of the civilizational structure along with social and spiritual achievements. Analyzing the mechanism of functioning of city structures and different spheres of life in a polis environment, the author comes to the conclusion about the mediated character of urbanized structural entities, the manifestation and persistent objectification of their alienated essence in the behavior and consciousness of the urban personality.
