NOTION "JUSTICE" AT THE MAIN STAGES OF HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHT

Abstract. The article explores the problem of defining the notion "justice" in the social-philosophical context, analyzes scientific approaches to the essence of the notion under consideration that existed at different stages of historical development of philosophical thought. The authors claim that the notion "justice" is one of the most ambiguous philosophical categories, because there is no unified opinion on the essence of this notion in science yet.
