TRANSFORMATION OF CORRELATION OF RISK A ND SAFETY CONCEPTS IN MODERN SOCIETY

Abstract. The article is devoted to considering the concepts "risk" and "safety" and their correlation in conditions of the modern society, in which many of the risks associated with natural phenomena not controlled by the human have ceased to exist, but a lot of previously unknown riskogenic factors have appeared. The author comes to the conclusion about the changing social order in connection with transformation of risk as a social phenomenon: traditional aspiration of the human for safety and avoidance of risks are changing their topicality for the modern individual.
