MEANING GENERATION DYNAMICS IN THE MAQAMA "ARABALAR GELIP DE GECHER"

Abstract. At the turn of the XX-XXI centuries, musicology continuously faces the problem of meaning generation. Compositions inevitably bear traces of their historical epoch. The article examines meaning generation dynamics in the Crimean Tatar monody by the example of the maqama "Arabalar gelip de gecher" from Ya. Sherfedinov’s collection "Haytarma Plays". Meaning generation dynamics is identified by the theoretical analysis. Poetical and musical texts are compared.
