THE TWIN PARADOX AS A LOGIC ERROR

Abstract. The article deals with the existing approaches to the consideration of the twin paradox. It is shown that although the formulation of this paradox is related to the special theory of relativity, the general theory of relativity is also used in most attempts to explain it, which is not methodologically correct. The author grounds a proposition that the formulation of the "twin paradox" itself is initially incorrect, because it describes the event that is impossible within the framework of the special theory of relativity.
