RELATION OF THE JOINT GUERILLA ARMY OF TAMBOV REGION WITH THE UPPER DON INSURGENTS (1920-1921)

Abstract. On the basis of documents recently found in state archives the author analyzes the cases of cooperation between the Joint Guerilla Army of Tambov region with the rebellious troops of the Upper Don districts in the period from the autumn of 1920 till the summer of 1921. The paper provides three examples of cooperation between Tambov guerrillas and insurgents of the neighbouring Don territories - Motorygin’s, Vakulin’s and Maslakov’s followers. Peculiarities of such cooperation are identified.
