THE MASS MEDIA AS A TOOL OF INFLUENCE OF THE HUMANITIES TECHNOLOGIES ON THE PUBLIC CONSCIOUSNESS

Abstract. The article examines the role of the mass media in realizing the creative and transformational potential of the modern humanities technologies. The object of the author’s attention is the impact of the humanities technologies on the public consciousness and public opinion through the media. To achieve this goal, by the example of the specific humanities technologies the paper analyzes a mechanism for their realization and the implementation of necessary values, ideas and meanings. The author comes to the conclusion that the mass media are the most effective tool of the humanities technologies influence on the public consciousness and managing social processes.
