ON THE CONTENT OF THE ENGINEERING GRAPHICS COURSE AT BAUMAN MOSCOW STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract. The article examines the content of the engineering graphics course at Bauman Moscow State Technical University in the conditions of the reduction of the academic hours devoted to its study. Possible ways of the reduction of the course sections are analyzed. Various versions of the course programs are presented, the success of their mastering by the students of the faculty "Mechanical Engineering" is considered. It is shown that teaching engineering graphics must end with drawings of details and assembly units in one form or another, at the same time it is unacceptable to simplify graphic works unjustifiably in order to cover more sections of the course.
