Abstract. The article deals with the problem of еру localization of the subject of thought in the context of the tendency to overcome transcendentalism in modern philosophy. This tendency actualizes the topic of the ontological status of the subject. At the same time, complete refusal to recognize the subject as an independent instance of thought and action seems impossible. The initial question is considered as a starting point of thinking as a "sketch of the world" (M. Heidegger). The latter is interpreted as a paradoxical place of coincidence/distinction between being and thought and at the same time as a point of the localization of the subject’s absolute responsibility.
