CLASSICAL TYPE OF INTELLIGENTSIA AS A SOCIAL UNIT

Rudakova Irina Viktorovna
Bryansk State Technological University of Engineering

Submitted: 04.10.2018
Abstract. The article proves the need to distinguish two types of intelligentsia: classical (late XIX - early XX century) and Soviet. The starting point of the analysis is the ordinary level of worldview, as it intertwines organically world attitude, world perception, world understanding with values, norms, which in turn are manifested in a certain system of behaviour. The author analyses the image of the world of the classical type of intelligentsia and its way of life. Special attention is paid to the relationship between these two components, which reveals the features of the classical type of intelligentsia as a social unit.
