PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS OF RURAL TOURISM

Abstract. The article studies the phenomenon of rural tourism from the standpoint of its key, basic characteristics. The place of rural tourism in the context of new economy is shown, where emotion prevails over rational choice. The author defines the degree of the development of tourism philosophical problems in general and rural tourism in particular. Basing on the analysis of theoretical studies and normative-legal acts of the subjects of the federation regulating the sphere of state support for tourism, rural tourism is considered as an exploited economic resource. The contradictory nature of this understanding of rural tourism is shown. The author draws a conclusion about the transformative character of rural tourism and describes the directions of these transformations.
