PECULIARITIES OF K. A. BREITBURG’S MUSICALS

Abstract. Kim Alexandrovich Breitburg is a Soviet and Russian-Ukrainian music producer, composer and arranger, sound engineer, and vocalist, Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation, author of musicals, music for cinema and television, and more than 600 songs. Being a famous hit maker, K. A. Breitburg has managed to create the most integral artistic conception in the direction of the variety musical, supplementing his compositor’s vision of the genre with certain organizational methods and staging theatrical techniques as a producer. Due to the organic, unified approach to all the details of the musical creation and its production process, made with all possible care, it has become possible to achieve the corresponding results: more than 40 productions in Russia and abroad, 2000000 spectators.
