Abstract. The paper introduces the conception of an ecophilic human, who forms ecophilic consciousness of respect and parity relations with nature. Development of ecological culture in the modern world contributes to a human’s involvement in environmental informatization, encourages ecophilic religious moods and promotes better understanding of negative aspects of eco-phobia. Using the ecophilic strategy a human can minimize his impact on nature and even solve global problems including the problem of environmental crisis. On the other hand, the modern "human engineering" strategy within the framework of the trans-humanistic approach together with technocracism, hedonism and eco-phobia does not give us a chance to improve the quality of life.
