Аннотация.
В статье рассмотрены политические итоги Пасхального восстания. Автор приходит к выводу, что, несмотря на весомый вклад Ольстера в реставрацию республиканизма, это течение приобрело доминирующее влияние на Юге. По мнению автора, Пасхальное восстание разрушило имперский режим в Ирландии и заложило основы «северной» политики южного республиканизма, но триумф его идеологии на Юге и победа Шин Фейн открывали путь к независимости Ирландии ценой ее разделения и принесением в жертву интересов национальных меньшинств, на что не рассчитывали южные лидеры.
