Аннотация.
В статье рассматривается процесс распространения в США и Великобритании идеи международной организации в годы Первой мировой войны. Автор анализирует генезис первых организаций, ставивших целью практическую реализацию этой идеи, и показывает сложный процесс утверждения в общественном мнении и впоследствии в международном праве идей коллективных действий по защите мира, коллективной безопасности и международных санкций экономического и военного характера.
