Abstract.
In the article the transformation of the subject “Biomechanics of Locomotory Activity” into the profession of new type is considered under the conditions of competitive environment and the creation of competitive specialists in the sphere of sport and rendering health-improving services to the population. Market environment forms new approaches to the qualitative intake of students for narrow-purpose specialities and their professional competence.
