EXAMPLES OF BIBLICAL PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS VARIABILITY IN THE GERMAN AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES

Abstract. The article is devoted to biblical phraseological units and their development in the German language. The display of dual (historical and symbolic) realism principle in these steady biblical expressions that is revealed in the plot generating space of the German literature is considered. The author focuses at the little-studied aspect of biblical expressions comparison and variability in the German and Russian languages on the basis of specific examples, researches the content and language forms of biblical phraseological units taking into account that they are not only literary but also a historical and religious fact.
