FAIRYTALE THERAPY WITH CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS: CULTUROLOGICAL ASPECT

Abstract.
The article considers the method of fairytale therapy in psychosocial work with children and adolescents in difficult situations. Special attention is paid to the specificity of the basic archetypal images manifestations in different cultures. The author emphasizes the fact that in the presence of universal archetypal plots archetypal images realization may vary depending on cultural attitudes, which leads to national identity and, as a consequence, to the need of taking into consideration these features when working with children and adolescents by means of fairytale therapy.
