HUMAN PSYCHOLOGICAL PHENOMENOLOGY IN NIL SORSKY’S HERITAGE

Aleksei Aleksandrovich Isakov

Submitted: February 1, 2015
Abstract. The article presents an original interpretation of Nil Sorsky’s anthropology as human psychological phenomenology. The starting point of Nil’s anthropology is seen in the perception of man as microcosm. Human consciousness appears to be in constant motion, which can be given both downward and upward direction. The author concludes that man is seen in Nil Sorsky’s anthropology in more existential than essential terms. For our contemporaries the most relevant idea is one of permanent human’s responsibility for his/her existence.
