Abstract.
The article focuses on the role of the scientific-technical museums of the Near East in the solution of the state policy problems. The paper considers the peculiarities of the region related to its heightened conflictness as a result of ethnic, confessional and economic heterogeneity. The experience of the work of a number of the Near East museums in the sphere of conflict situations solution is analyzed. The author concludes that technical museums can become a powerful factor in the solution of many state problems.
