Abstract.
The article deals with problematic aspects related to various ways of the formation of the intensive form of qualitative adjectives in the Iron and Digor dialects of the modern Ossetian language. Particular attention is paid to the determination of the implementation of this grammatical phenomenon in functional styles and to the expressive coloration of such adjectives. The authors analyze in detail the peculiarities of the formation of the intensive form of adjectives in the both dialects of the Ossetian language.
