SOCIAL INTEGRATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY

Abstract. The article examines the influence of the social model of disability on the process of the social integration of young people with restricted abilities. The author shows that within the framework of this model social policy aims to create barrier-free environment, in which a disabled person can become an equal member of the society acquiring profound education and competing successfully in the labour market.
