Abstract.
The article discusses an algorithm of calculating the elements of a gripper of billets for a gantry-tilter used in the automated and robotized production lines of welded flange beams, substantiates the necessity of the application of a support gripper in the construction in the process of billets manipulation (rotation), presents the results of the calculation and a three-dimensional model of the gripper design.
